I had a quiet night, so I thought i'd play with this concept of

combining deep space objects into another form. Your guidence and

comments are always appreciated, thank you.

G'day Born2Click, and thank you :)

This is just a composite using 2 of the deep space images in my portfolio. The Omega Centauri Star cluster and the Orion Nebula.

The 'Rose' is the Orion Nebula rotated upside down to form the flower, i then saturated the reds. The Stem is just made from bright stars, I just smudged some of them to form thorns. The Star cluster, placed at the top, was also used to produce the leaves. The leaves were just stretched, reshaped and burned in a little for added dimension.

The end result is just 7 layers in Photoshop using 3 seperate elements.

I think I'll play around with this concept and see what results I can archive with more time, and a little more refined imagination :) as I only spent about 30 minuets on this first attempt and thought I'd put it up to see what others thought. Thanks again :)

P.s ... lol ... for some reason, I always see flowers in Nebulas and Star clusters, but this flower would be hard to pick as its some 17,000 light years away :)
