Perhaps, as someone suggested with the earlier version, the black background was a bit stark for the pretty little face ... but personally I preferred the blonde hair and the more natural image of the first post. This altered version shows how clever you are with Photoshop ... and I am in awe of the number of winning ways you can continue to present the same model ... always seeming to outreach your previous efforts. You are truly awesome ... and so is this little girl. May you never run out of ideas ... you inspire us all.

simply beautiful Jacqueline. Her expression has a touch of sadness which i

find very poignant. The runny nose also tells the story that she may have been crying. The soft light is exquisite and the colors are brilliant. I also like the soft focus very much. This is indeed a 10/10 regards- michel

PS For what it's worth, i think this version is by far the better one of the two, the colors are very natural and support the mood of the model.

Just curious as to what equipment you are shooting with. Your results are continue to set the bar higher and higher.

Emmanuel it's always a pleasure to hear your views... To answer your question I shoot with a Nikon D80, Nikon lens 80mm 1.8, natural light filled with an AlienBee flash ring. Post process in Photoshop. It's almost been a year since I took up photography and I got now the urge to go back to basics, that is to shoot film...so I indulged myself with an old view camera, 8x10, you might as well. By the time I figure out how to use it, my daughter Malen will be old enough to stand still in front of the camera...well that's the plan :)

After reading that you use the Alienbee I am considering purchasing one, though I had no idea what it was until I looked it up. Simply the most fabulous face that I have seen today. The scarf is also well decorated and adds more aesthetic to the photo. Her eyes, lips, and hair are the most wonderful components in the photo. I just want to know her name; is it "Trony"? Professional capture dear Jacqueline.
