Hi Andrea - you know part of being an outdoor photographer is having a clue about weather patterns - and it was obvious to me before the sun rose - that this was going to be spectacular - the sunrise that is - not necessarily my images of it - thanks for sharing your thoughts - it means alot ... !

Hello Teresa - yes it was an interesting place compared to the other Hawaiian islands - laid back and slow for sure - the only 'commercial' signs I saw there were Fed Ex and Chevron ..... No Holiday Inn, No McDonalds' and no tacky gift shops and only a few good restaurants )-; .... Thank you Teresa (-;

Apart from both of yous being excellent photographers, I think of yous as fine humans who just happen to like cameras.
