Hey Fred long time no see. It looked like you had not logged in to photo net in 3 years. I see you got one of those full frame Canons. I've been looking at the 5D. and the f2.8 24-70mm.

You're right. I have logged in but not contributed much until now.

I didn't get a full-frame camera. I borrowed a couple from Canon. In spring, 2007, I borrowed a 1Ds Mark II and this spring, I borrowed a 5D. The 1Ds Mark II had a problem in that the images were noisy and banded. The 5D was fine but I didn't use it too much. I think I will look at the replacement for the 5D this fall as I hear it will be nice.
