midhun 0 Posted March 7, 2008 The wood pole on the right being very near give me a feeling of obstruction of terrain. But a very nice pic though. Link to comment
beartooth1 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Great shot, I also like to shoot fence lines.. If I had to critique something I would have cropped closer to the post. I find my eye wondering to the right. Please look at mine and see what you think. Ken Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted March 8, 2008 Not many folks know how tough this shot can be to make...! I agree that the space on the right of the post distracts...because there is so much going on in this composition...The highlight of that little bit sky reflecting pulls hard...with out it... the fence and the mountains become the main subject...but hey...that's just my 2 cents...This image stopped me in my tracks...Juan Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted March 8, 2008 I'll throw my two-cents in; I like the bit of space on the right. I think it actually gives a feel of open space; where the post would be a heavy anchor on the right side if closed up. Wonderful point-of-view, and I like that you got way down low for this. Well seen and captured, my friend! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
owyhee 0 Posted March 11, 2008 Great photograph! I know many similar places. Is this Nevada by chance? Link to comment
aramat57 3 Posted April 11, 2008 Beautiful capture of the wide open spaces out west. Fencelines are a favorite of mine. Best regards, Tammy Link to comment
frogpondstudio 0 Posted April 26, 2008 I really like this one.I like the way you framed the mountains with the wire strands, the reflection of the mountains in the water and the great DOF. Great job.I think that this is one of my favorites. cher.. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted July 22, 2008 This is a much stronger composition, for what its worth. Powerful lines, and it's not so bisected thanks in part to the mountain range. You were digging deep for some detail in the post, though ;-) Link to comment
