gib 0 Posted August 17, 2002 maybe it's me but this image is much more compelling in the thumbnail size than in the fuller display size. on the other hand it is pretty late. very, very interesting shot. Link to comment
stacey_waselovich 0 Posted September 1, 2002 This hallway was open to the outside on both ends - it was actually quite bright and cheerful and not at all gloomy, but I knew that the contrast would record this way on film. The exposure was several seconds long using Fuji Velvia, and I had to bracket. I'm quite happy with the results - what do you think? Link to comment
jason_bowie 0 Posted September 6, 2002 What am I supposed to be looking at? An interesting shot but a bit distracting and contrasted. Link to comment
bridget_hunt 0 Posted May 24, 2003 Stacey, I think this is a very useful photo to have, the first comment I wanted to make was that it reminds me of the the film 'The Shining' it is very spookey !! I think you could do some digital work with this, maybe use it is a background for something - a ghostly image of a person standing in the foreground etc. You need to rotate it slightly so that it is straight i.e. in Photoshop click IMAGE - ROTATE CANVAS - ARBITRARY - Then rotate it a few degrees to the right so that the walls are straight. A professional photographer friend of mine said to me recently to look at and keep all the photgraphs you take and one day you might be able to use aspects from them. I think you have some good work in your portfolio. Regards Bridget Link to comment
