I'll bet the colors were strong, so B&W is an interesting choice which works well as it focuses attention on the subject matter itself. I assume our dresser is outfitting a mannequin; they look equally thin. B&W tones are great, and the title adds a nice element.

Tim: You know me too well! The colors were interesting, though the mixed color temperatures of the light sources was a bit troublesome. I was far more interested in the circumstances than the colors just that moment. The Italians certainly dress their windows as well as they do themselves, and this little bit of ritual was very eyecatching.
