paula grenside 0 Posted March 5, 2008 There's such a sense of solitude in the silhouette at the exit. Very well seen. Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted March 5, 2008 Although I don't agree it's the best of the series it's very very good. But since I'm rather opinionated I'm going to add something. First of all Shawn I think has a point. Although in this case I wouldn't want to change it in an all b&w I think some desaturation and sharpening would be beneficial ( although that comes dangerously close to personal taste). I've tried it and I think it looks better that way. Also I would remove that dark shadow on the left. Link to comment
vicenteconcha 8 Posted March 5, 2008 An atmosphere, a silhouette, possibly an excellent story to tell. Congratulations. Vicente. Link to comment

chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Hope we will continue to be in and not kicked out! Great addition to the series with a mood all of its own .There is something ,unidentifiable, of documentary quality ,which permits yo see it as if it was from the 60s, the 70s...... Excellent! My compliments, Chris Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Doug, Gordon, Dave, Giuliano, David, Ken, Teresa, Dale, Giuseppe, Janusz, Rita, Ruud, Paula, Antonio, Alec, Diana, Antanas, Alina, Adela, Oskar, Cynthia, Elena, Ton, Vicente, Sally, Lauren, Barbara, Inger Margrete, Chris -- Thank you for taking the time to view this shot and leave your comments and critiques. I am very grateful. As to the suggestions re a b&w, sharper, more desaturated, and/or other versions, I appreciate them and would be foolish if I didn't consider them seriously. I think they have merit, and I would never dismiss such ideas out of hand. But in this instance, I'd considered and tried those very ideas before posting the version you see here. Making an image is, finally -- as we all know -- a matter of personal intent and preference. For better or worse, depending on taste, I chose this version -- with all of its imperfections. Warm regards ... Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted March 7, 2008 a moody image Joseph...the silouette against the warm colored BG...I love the light coming from the corridor to light the BG only.... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 7, 2008 Wow, Joe, I'm really late... it is very impressive. She looks framed by the dark shadows around her and still her features are well seen even as a silhouette. the red/yellowish light and tone are creating a special mood of lonliness. Link to comment
