One of these mid-expression captures that usually end up with a

deformed or "grimace" as we say in France, and so are discarded.

I found myself lucky enough to like that one that didn't turn as bad

as I thought it would.

My thought anyway, maybe... not yours.

Cute shot. I would like to see her a bit off center, Most of you photos seem to have the subject in the middle and sometimes it makes for better composition if the subject is a little to the left or right. In this case since her eyes are looking a bit towards the left I think the shot would look better with part of the negative space on the right cropped. Black & white is the way to go here. She is a beautiful little girl. Congrats. DMc

Your observation is right. I think it's either me or that "nasty or/and lazy" habit I took since I shoot with an autofocus camera to only use the central AF sensor. Or could even be the fact that this girl of mine doesn't keep still when I try to photograph her. She's tougher than sports photography.Anyway I'll be more conscious about it. Thanks for Sharing.
