dan_sheppard 0 Posted August 12, 2002 VERY hard to capture. I pointed to an area it had visited before, then manually focused my lens, as I shot off two and only two shots. Other one the wings blurred. Link to comment
teemu vedenoja 0 Posted August 12, 2002 I know it's almost impossible to get a dragonfly flying on a picture. I've used a wild west kinda technique, as I've manually focused to a certain distance and then I just wait for one to get close enough and shoot without looking through the camera. Still just 8/8 cause this isn't nothing but a good picture to identify species i.e. not much artistic elements. Link to comment
ecarter 0 Posted August 13, 2002 It is hard to shoot ANY insects in my experience (I've only tried dragonflies and butterflies - and not with any great success) and I think you've done very well to capture this one in flight! If I have a comment it is that I might be tempted to crop in on the fly a bit - but this looks good as it is too. Link to comment
