christopher_may 0 Posted February 13, 2001 You can feel the magic of flight. Beautiful! Link to comment
michael_fruitman 0 Posted March 5, 2001 I think this is a beautiful looking photo. The nice and bright tones of orange really bring out the dark plane in the middle. The streak of clouds at the top draw my eyes across the photo. It's almost monochromatic helping to set a mood! good job! Link to comment
gino_cecchetto 0 Posted March 26, 2001 Very nice image. I think it would be even better if the strip of mother earth at the bottom was croped out. Gino Link to comment
kyle_martens 0 Posted April 12, 2001 It is a very nice shot! It seems that you found a practical application for the one thing that Kodak film is good for...ORANGE!!! Would you care to disclose what kind of equipment (filters, camera, lens,...) you used and what kind of settings were used? I would be very interested. Did you use a disposable camera? Ha ha, just jokeing. Link to comment
yumnokoi 0 Posted May 2, 2001 I gave it a lower rating for aesthetics than originality. I love shooting into the sun with a tobacco or red filter, since it never fails to produce drama. And the icarus-like juxtaposition of flyer and raging sun was effective. However, I felt that the composition drained the picture of its energy rather than enhanced it. Somehow, the relative positioning of the objects in the frame made the shot feel a little static. Nice job, though overall. Link to comment
