It looks crystal clear and knife-edge sharp, as though you really were right in front of him - but I doubt you were anywhere near as close to those talons as the pic looks! With the cloudy white background he really looks to be almost jumping off the screen. Awesome. Link to comment

gulfbeach47 0 Posted March 15, 2008 Without a doubt, the best owl shot i have ever seen. Was it snapping it's beak at you? I have seen a horned owl pose like that when i snapped a shot of it while it was on a log dining on rabbit.It was clicking that razor sharp beak at me and had it's feathers all balled up like that. Definitly looks like it is saying Scram or your butt is mine:) Link to comment
