younes 0 Posted February 27, 2008 I decided to try a BW conversion on one of my favorite shots from my West Coast trip., what do you think? Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted February 27, 2008 Younes, I like how you have drawn the symmetry of those two submerged rocks with the peaks. I find the b/w version slightly dark though. It would be interesting to see the color version too. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted February 27, 2008 I liked the color version of this image (you had posted this ealier, as I recall?); and normally I'm a huge black and white aficianado, but I think Lalit is right, this is 'dark.' Just a suggestion, but what about a change from the vertical format to a square format, and crop the bottom up to just above the two large dark rocks? Keep tinkering, Amigo; there's a black and white image in there. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

ryourth 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Younes, guess we all see things differently, your first one is my choice, to me it creates a sense of mystery.A small portion of the mountain reveals itself, but the rest is hidden & unknown. The second one being slightly lighter does not create the same response.
