Makes me want to leave the city immediately. The ripples really make the shot. But I'm also confused. It achieves a lovely transparency to the water in the foreground, yet a perfect reflection in the background. Did you combine a polarized shot with a non-polarized one to achieve the look? Or was it just the way it was? Any secrets to share here?

Beautiful work. I'm not a fan of the BG polarizer but it works well enough here.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and generous ratings. Steve...no secrets here. This is one shot of many (because my rock throwing skills aren't what they used to be). The sun was not in the best position for using a polarizer but was good enough to give me the blue reflections up close, and the clouds may have been casting a shadow on the the water further out which may explain the mixed effect. I prefer this one although the golden version has charm also. I just think the cold blue works better with the imagined temperature.

Indeed such a lovely & calming scene. Gorgeous blue & the ripples does provide a excellent 'activiity" to the still landscape.
