tony_dummett 0 Posted February 26, 2001 What is it with Portugal, beaches, fences, clouds and the sun? These sorts of pictures are getting to be cliched. Miguel Mealha has done all this beautifully already... nice pic, but can we move on? Link to comment
g_a1 0 Posted March 15, 2001 Beautiful image- I rate you highly on aesthetics, and, as the above reviewer metioned, not as highly on originality. But if he wants to limit everyone to only that which has never been photographed, we wouldn't have enough images for this website. We are all about 100 years too late for that. Link to comment
markci 0 Posted March 16, 2001 The horizon is a bit off level, but that's fixable. Otherwise it's nice. Link to comment
thomas_park1 0 Posted March 19, 2001 Nice work! Could I ask what chemistry you developed this with? Link to comment
rays photography 0 Posted March 23, 2001 Not all IR photos are created equal. I can see deliberate thoughts in the composition and the result is effective. 9/8 on a/o merits. Link to comment
kyle_martens 0 Posted May 25, 2001 10/10 no matter how many times it is reproduced, it is still just as beautiful. I wonder if Tony feels the same way about his wife? I have one suggestion for next time if you don't mind. I find that the foreground (dirt and fence) are kind of seperated from the background (water and sky). I think that if you got down lower thereby causing the fence posts to pierce the sky it might help unify them and add even more drastic perspective to the pic. I would love to see one of those posts cross that horizon line! Nice shot though! Way to go! Link to comment
steve_wilkinson 0 Posted June 6, 2001 Tony's snitty, thoughtless comment reflects neither his talent nor his usually constructive insight. I'm hoping it's just a bad hair day. Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted July 1, 2001 You'cve certainly got a winner here. Beautiful moment. And I disagree with Tony. A beautiful scene is always worthy. You can never have too many beautiful landscape images. Nor nudes nor flowers nor people images. It's all new and exciting each time as long as some thought was put into each creation. There are a couple of good ways to print this but this is great. I like the fence where it is. Not being intrusive upon the incredible subject itself. I hope there was a color image of this too.
