Laura, I think this shot has great potential. Maybe more contrast would improve it signifincantly.

I really like the picture - I can see how some people would like more contrast - however, the grey, the stonelike appearance of (sidenote: my favorite animal) your model =)gives it a wonderful quality - especially with those eyes. Piercing from a statue to say the least - keep on the good work, I've just started browsing your folder...

The contrast is all right! It`s a black and grey shot, impressing!

I am resubmitting this for critique because for me, this is an

important shot that I have done. I really felt I captured her

feeling and presence in my household in this shot. Please give me

your comments on this photograph. It's more than a pet shot to me,

it's a portrait with more depth than I imagined.
