A Wonderful Shot, Nicely Done !

Certainly good--I like the basic lighting and color and the pose, but I'm with Marc on this. The first thing I thought when I saw the thumbnail on the homepage was that the top looked too tightly framed. The whole area on and around the mirror seems too uniformly dark, at least on my display.. Don't get me wrong; it's a good shot, but I think there's a bit of the traditional photo.net bonus-points-for-nudity thing going on, too.

A very appealing photo. i thought this to be perfect, but then other comments made me look at the pic much more carefully.

 

What i mind most is the darkness at the top area which make losing detail of her face and hair.

I will agree that it should be cropped along the sides, but that is just editing. Beautiful woman, wonderful curves, great lighting, or did you use an orange filter? My god though the perfect woman in the perfect pose.

The ability to move another's emotions through a photo is a rare gift,indeed! Absolutely nothing gratuitous about this 10/10...

I can't tell if her feet are dirty or not (and, honestly, I wouldn't have really been looking if others hadn't complained; even now I find it hard to be distracted by her feet!). Perhaps you could have had someone run up there and dust off the bottom of her feet, but I can't really tell if it's not just shadow.

 

Two things that would make it more perfect than it is: a little more space on the top and bottom and have her looking at the camera in the mirror. If she was looking at us (er, the camera) I guarantee they wouldn't notice her feet at all!

I dont think this picture should get a 7 for origonality or asthetics, The lighting is very well done on her arm and mid back, but the rest of the picture isnt very well done, there are too many shadows on the left side and the mirror cuts part of her hair away wich makes it very unbalenced, had you been able to see more of her hair on the left side of the mirror and had you continued the lighting along down her torso and legs and maby croped out the shadow on the right I believe this photo would have been done better, but a good try and would you mind telling me why people rated this a 7 on origonality?....weve all seen pictures like this before, its not a very origonal picture, I would have prefered if you croped the picture at around the waist by that white band, ~~~~3li

This is just GREAT - congratulation

This is one of the few times I've seen a nude where the woman seems to have a reason for being nude. She is not in a studio. Perhaps she is inspecting herself in the mirror. Her soles are dirty as if she's been walking around her place like this. The only thing which makes one believe this is part of a studio shot is the chain around the waist.

Clearly this shot catches a lot of attention. You've captured a great subjct in a wonderful photo.

Actually, the shadow at the back of her left leg. and on her right, er, posterior, is darker than those under her feet. So: either her feet are clean, or those other parts are dirty too. Judging from some of the above comments, there is a market out there for a revival of the Playboy of the 50s when the models were airbrushed out of any "imperfections"; ended up not looking human.

Well commanded light and a nice pose

Well, it's pretty well done, but what I see here is a somewhat better than average photo of a stunningly nice rear end. Sorry, but I think this one is overrated.

Obbviously it's not mine. How do these ladies keep their butts in such great shape?

OK, this kind of photo is not original, but it's still superbly carried out. The woman and the lighting are beautiful, so are the colours of the wall. You might consider cropping a little on the right side. There is too much empty space there, and the model shouldn't be smack in the centre anyway. A slimmer format will also accentuate her body even farther. I like the play with the mirror, and if she had looked at the camera, and not at herself, it may have been too provocative.

Of all the nshots in this folder I ike this one the most.

Why are the highlights so coarse?
