I shot this one morining in Vancouver BC. It is actually from a back dock to a small garden shop.

I could honestly not think of a way to categorize this photo.

Please be honest with me, I've had many compliments on my

work but it has been from people I know. Strangers can be more

honest and I appreciate that.

Looking closer, I have to tell you I really like this image. A lot. Very much. The light hitting the cityscape in the background gives it a very clean, clinical feeling. It's concrete, metal and glass -- nature is not allowed to intrude there.

The foreground plants make me think of wilderness slowly coming back to regain its land. I love the way the foreground and background contrast but work so well together.

Put simply: I think this is a fantastic shot.
