The atmosphere of this photograph is very subtile. Cropping half the image would make it more mysterious and eliminate a lot of photographic information that doesn't relate to the main idea. Take it for nothing more than my point of view :-)

Either way, it is a good photograph.

First thanks for your point of view, which i agree.

But my intention was to creat an ambiguos imagem, divided em two vertical frames, one with the person and the other with wall. Maybe this option is more confuse...

Maybe Thomas was talking about cropping a bit off of the bottom, which would still leave you with two vertical frames but less dead area.

Actually, the medium-sized picture is a little too large for my monitor, so I have to scroll up and down, and I noticed that cropping off the top, at the woman's feet, just below the lamp makes for an interesting picture, too.
