mr. sullen 0 Posted February 18, 2008 I don't know what that is but I see some red haze/streaks running across the entire photo. Link to comment
petemillis 0 Posted February 18, 2008 Cheers Shay. I only see it in that image when I crank the brightness on my mnoitor right up. It doesn't come out in print. All it is is a bit of sensor noise because of the long exposure, and I didn't clip the left of the histogram enough in post processing. I've clipped the left further now and have uploaded the image again. Does this look better? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 23, 2008 looking at the upside down twig in B/W, and this one in color, it is hard to decide, as both of them are very delicate with a small nice curve , beautifully ligted and placed on the frame. I like the negative space that really gives it a breathing space, and also it is like " growing" from the dark toward the light, or simply flying in the air( the colored one). The B/W is a bit different in feeling, looks to me like trying to touch the earth.... In general nice image in both forms. Another possibility I see is to crop a bit from the bottom and rotating it a tiny bit to the L corner, giving it more tension, only one more option.... Link to comment
