Cropped out of a larger Kodachrome slide and resized for the Internet. Being only moderately skilled in scanning, I couldn't quite get the colors as vivid as the original slide... but not bad!

In learning more how to scan on my Nikon Coolscan V ED, I'm still

getting inconsistent results. Sometimes I get lucky and a scan

remains true to color to the original Kodachrome. Usually, photos

with "evening light" have colors that don't come through easily in

the scan. Any hints from veteran scanners? Which color space might be

the best choice for the above situation? Any help would be much

appreciated. Thanks
