olafdevries 0 Posted April 8, 2008 Alex, the light, shadows, train and especially the entering (!) man are fine! However, without the dark woman, your shot would have been strong! Regards! Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Always so interesting to realize how differently we all see things. I think the dark woman is essential to this image. She balances the man entering the train, and her shadow echoes the pillars and other people behind her. This is a fine, strong, well composed image, Alex. Bravo! Regards... Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted April 14, 2008 "By limmiting/restricting the master is shown." The lady does ad nothing, on the contrary. She takes attention away and is just a dark block, braking the dept and nice grey shadow-diagonals. We see different, however that's not always just simply: one to one. I can play a bit the recorder. (wooden flute) My father-in-law plays "every" instrument and does hear differences in music, I symply even don't notice. (One will understand, they did ask ME.. for the weekly column in the Music-magazine..!:) Link to comment
