kenern_petersen 0 Posted August 8, 2002 For me the composition says something like, "We're on track but we don't know what's around the next bend or down the hill. Just hang on, here we go." This is the kind of photo that has the potential to really trigger philosophical thought--at least for me. Composition is great. I think the tracks not being in sharp focus contributes to leading the eyes away and into the distance at a quick pace, thus contributing to that "what's next" feeling. I like it a lot! squirrelman 0 Posted August 17, 2002 Excellent image, albeit a "little over the top." Link to comment
laura2 0 Posted August 19, 2002 I feel kind of scared and alone when I see a picture like this, like at the end of the tracks at the horizon, the whole world is going to tip over. It looks deathly silent, and the rails look really old. The lack of civilization enhances the feeling of the "white noise" of solitude. Link to comment
munawar_ainy 0 Posted August 22, 2002 It really drew me into a subtle but peaceful feeling. A little bit darker on top of the image would bring more impact. 9/9 Link to comment
andrewhemstrought 0 Posted August 27, 2002 Very good. Great subject. Although, I'd like to see this compressed a little more with a longer lens to show more ripples in the track. A haze filter would improve the sky. This could also use a focal point ideally a train but maybe someone walking up/down the track in the distance. If you could go back there it would be worth a few more shots. These things I've mentioned make the difference between good and great. This is good but could be a 10. Link to comment
