No I didn't go in. lol I'm thinking my weight would have done her in. That and I probably would have been shot by a nearby farmer.

What a unique shot. Good find, have you tried converting this to B/W? I like the cropping also. I hope you don't mind me experimenting with your photo. Fred

Thanks Fred, actually I like your version very much. I actually saved a B&W version on my computer but I really liked the color of the silo and the old faded red barn wood, so I stuck with the color version.

 

I had been driving by this old barn once a week for the last year, I could see it in the distance. But I could not figure out how to get off the interstate and find the back country roads that would get me close. I would get lost every time I tried. Finally one day I got lucky.

It this off I90-94 in Dane County? Looks a lot like one old barn sadly coming down in that area as well. Was an historic shape but the farm got sold out to a corporate farm and poor old barn never got repaired before it got this far along. It was a beauty in it's day. I love the old barns as well and I hate to see them go. The steel jobs will never replace them.
