Great Model and I love her look- but the pic appears out of focus-effect??

I think the concept is great and well executed.

I used a piece of black toule over the lens for a softer focus. It also added the sparkle to the diamonds. I also have been finding that when converting from a NEF to a JPG the files tens to look softer no mater what I do.

Nice pic. Is the lighting just a tad too harsh?

The soft focus helps to avoid the model overpowering the jewelry completely. Very tasteful.

Very tasteful, but I don't agree with the soft focus on the face.

In my opinion its just too much of a glamour clichè...sorry, but it doesn't appeal to me at all...

The lower portion of her face appears to be out of focus where as the forhead and hair are sharp. Not a good combination in my opinion.

Good lighting and pose of the model, however, if this is a jewelry shot, then you bare her too much; if it's a nude shot, you put too much jewelry on her because the first thing you look at this picture is her body.

Very nice shot, but I'm disturbed by the blurr right on the nose, as the eyes and the mouth remain sharp.
