shoppix 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Very nice mood, tone and perspective. I do feel that the near - foreground - bench is to much in center. I would like to see more space on the left. It tends to draw too much of my attenion to it. Whereas the entire scene - all the benches, the man walkingaway and the fog - is 'the image'. steve Link to comment

de_monc 0 Posted April 16, 2008 Technically, I think the image is quite good. But in the final analysis I am prompted to ask. Why do people produce such stereotypically silly images? I am tired of the seemingly crumbling old woman, or man walking near crosses, or cement structures, reminiscent of the final resting place of all animal form, including humans---yes humans. That old person has an extremely interesting things to tell you. He/she is not just associated with your fear of death. Link to comment
tonyguinn 69 Posted June 3, 2008 I am late to this event, having just come across your photograph. I believe it's strength lies in the questions that it provokes one to ask. Has she just risen from the bench, it still warm from her? Is she just a casual passerby or is she here often? Is there anything outside of the image that drives it? I am still pondering your image. Congratulations on capturing what many of us attempt. Link to comment
ivaylo_hristov 0 Posted September 17, 2008 Excuse me, is there an aureole around the head of the old man? Or I was too impressed and imagined it? Link to comment
