The sun rays look quite hand-made. Karl

Jane, I can't see that anything is lacking in this photograph. I like the composition with the road winding into the scene, and the larger lighter coloured building close to centre, and the river estuary cutting the frame where it does. The rays of sun through the cloud add interest too. It's certainly a photographs that has caught my attention and I'm now spending time looking closer and trying to work out all the details in it. What I would like to see is a larger version!

 

 

Hello Karl, I didn't do anything to the clouds... Actually, that's my impression too when I saw this photo but honestly, it's genuine. Thanks for commenting though.

Thank you so much for your effort in writting your remarks for this capture. Unfortunately, I don't have the large version anymore as I always resize my photos because I don't have the much memory in my PC. Regarding the rays from the sky, it looks unnatural for me as Karl agreed as well.

Jane, for something to look unnatural when it is actually there in reality isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's still real after all. Here it almost gives an "alien invasion" feel!
