Truly the gateway to the Highlands - and what an entrance, from a

certain viewoint Stob Dearg appears as a nearly perfect symetrical

pyramid, an imposing figure indeed before the drop down into Glen

Coe and on to Fort William.

Beautiful. The sky is outstanding. The wide angle perspective suits this picture well and is enhanced by the depth of field. The image feels vast. Congrats! 6/6 anonymously.

A very original viewpoint Fergus - you must have walked a little further than most! Beautiful light. If I was to be harsh, for me it's quite there in terms of composition - there's too much emphasis on the water on the right, but lovely nonetheless. What do you think? Rgds, Michael

Michael - For me this version works the best to my other viewpoints that I took that morn. A central mountain works well but just a little too in your face, I feel this is a comp based on a balance of quarters and the water on the right is complemented by the mountain on the left. But its whatever floats yer boat I guess- all the best
