timeless earth 1 Posted February 7, 2008 Truly the gateway to the Highlands - and what an entrance, from a certain viewoint Stob Dearg appears as a nearly perfect symetrical pyramid, an imposing figure indeed before the drop down into Glen Coe and on to Fort William. Link to comment
dougbrill 0 Posted February 7, 2008 Beautiful. The sky is outstanding. The wide angle perspective suits this picture well and is enhanced by the depth of field. The image feels vast. Congrats! 6/6 anonymously. Doug Link to comment

michaelsaird 0 Posted February 22, 2008 A very original viewpoint Fergus - you must have walked a little further than most! Beautiful light. If I was to be harsh, for me it's quite there in terms of composition - there's too much emphasis on the water on the right, but lovely nonetheless. What do you think? Rgds, Michael Link to comment
timeless earth 1 Posted March 21, 2008 Michael - For me this version works the best to my other viewpoints that I took that morn. A central mountain works well but just a little too in your face, I feel this is a comp based on a balance of quarters and the water on the right is complemented by the mountain on the left. But its whatever floats yer boat I guess- all the best Ferg Link to comment

bill_hogg1 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Your images of Scotland are fabulous. I am another wandering Scotsman getting too old for tramping over the moors so I am now doing surreal work. It is not so strenuous. Best wishes from ... Bill Hogg. Link to comment
