Guest Guest Posted August 7, 2002 I like the texturizing (PShop I presume?), and the idea is nice ;) goodwork! Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 7, 2002 ... but it seems the ratings went a bit far here... I mean, besides the Photoshop part - which you don't mention about - it's an ok feather shot, but not THAT exceptional imo. The light and colors are quite ok, but that's it for me. Just one of those (nowadays rare) honest opinions. Best regards. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted August 7, 2002 Sorry, I didn't mention the photoshop. The shot was cropped slightly, and a canvas texture applied and that was it. Thanks for the honest opinion Marc, I hope ALL the opinions voiced are honest ones. I am not posting photos just to hear praise, but constructive critique as well. How else are we to learn? ( I must say tho, as long as we are being honest here, it was nice to see my photo between one of yours Anna and one by Emil in the "top photos" section of the site)smile...Regina Link to comment
bill_mcghee1 0 Posted August 9, 2002 I had to do a double take on this one. I could tell right away it was a PS manipulation, but at first I thought it was a morph from a closed eye. Even after I know better I still keep seeing a 'face' in the image. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 10, 2002 looks great, like a pastel. but nothing special. can you post the original untouched image? Link to comment
russell_lucas 0 Posted September 4, 2002 This Image didn't do much for me. I was trying to find something in the texture but discounted that when I read it was 'created' in Photoshop. I rated it 8 in aesthetics and 9 in originality because I can't remember seeing a feather on canvas before. It comes down to what I have said a thousand times about my own photos; it's a perfect picture of absolutely nothing. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted September 4, 2002 Guess I am not sure if that is a compliment or not but thanks for the comments and ratings! Link to comment
