timzeipekis 5 Posted February 6, 2008 I like the B&W, and the backlighting on the child is excellent, maybe a shallower DOF would've helped pull him out of the background a bit, but I have 2 boys myself and realize to get great candids like this, you don't have a lot of time to plan the shot, so with that said, I really like this one! Tim you are so right, I find it really hard to get good images of my son, I think most of it is to do with how hectic and fidgety he is, but also there may be an element of avoidance in there because he has had a camera pointed at him from the moment he was born. My best shots are when I catch him unawares, which is very rarely I'm afraid to say! Anyway thanks again and best regards to all of you, I shall be sneaking a look at all of your work ASAP.
