bradkim 8 Posted February 12, 2008 Thank you Floriana for the opportunity to learn about Transilvanian lunch... So, is that yellowish liquid rum? Excellent still life image, anyway! I like it very much! Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted February 15, 2008 Floriana, the interesting set up of food on the newspapers ( two important life factors...;-)), has an ellement that hints of the owners even without the title.... the working tool as part of the meal composition.... Link to comment

cyanatic 0 Posted March 9, 2010 I like this image both as a documentary shot (lunch eaten by Transylvanian workers) and as a still life. Highlights and shadows are nicely balanced. I like the arrangement, the brick wall behind, and the newspaper. Although this is contemporary, it has a an “old world” charm about it. One possible, very minor, criticism: As a formal still life presentation, the angle here is just slightly skewed, the right foreground being a bit closer than the left foreground. This slight skew of perspective does not serve the composition and, to me, unbalances and detracts from it. I would rather see a straight, head on angle, with no right to left skewing of perspective. Again, however, this is minor. Overall, well seen, well done. Link to comment
markjordan 0 Posted March 9, 2010 The idea is very original and I like the neutrality of the colors. The various textures bring interest. I'd like to see a warmed up version to compare. Personally I'd starve to death if I had to eat this kind of stuff too much! Link to comment
