Shot with all natural light from a skylight above the 964 and a touch of backlight from the an slight opening in the overhead door in the background.Very little PS work on this image. Just to creat more light fall off.

Beautiful Shot! Beautiful car! The external lighting is just enough to highlight the lines and show detail. I do find the illuminated head rest a bit distracting.

It's a beautiful 964. Did you know that black is actually the color Ferdinad Piech favors in his own cars. I think your trick works on the floor but not elsewhere. The trick is too obvious on top of the car. You also need more longitudinal hilites. But, I love the car. I don't like 993 half as much as I do like the original 911 or 964 or 996/997. 964 has style. 993 looks like a raped 911.

I am not even going to comment on the bull-in-a-china-shop use of photoshop beyond saying that it would look slightly less ridiculous without that obvious halo - not to mention the fact that the original background is clearly visible through the windows, but I will say this: what difference does it make that it was taken with "natural light" when there is nothing left of the actual capture? A car this nice really deserves better...

I think you have an interesting technique. I have to laugh at some of the comments spewing from the mouths of some. "I am not even going to comment on the bull-in-a-china-shop use of photoshop" Sounds like your typical, "I shoot film therefore anything outside the boundaries of "Darkroom enhancements" just doesn't do it for me. Sounds like the stuff you read over in the film forum, word for word......Perfect your "bull in a China shop" technique and post some more...:)
