cipane 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Going along the river side in winter can be extremely interesting and challenging. Especially when you are deadly bored and not really in the mood for photography. Or just not finding subjects. That was the case...but not exactly. Longing the shore I noticed strange ice forms climbing any wooden thing above the water - trees included. This photo is just one of the many taken that afternoon, as I stayed between 3-4 hours out in the cold. No surprise it got really dark when I left. More to come... Thank you for viewing... rdpufallphotography 0 Posted January 29, 2008 fascinating and nice capture! Consider darking the mid tones via levels tools to pull some of that white out of the trunks to make the is pop even more, maybe a littler sharpening to contrast the smoothness of the ice more as well. Link to comment
cipane 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Thank you Reagan for your suggestion...I took advantage of it. Your version was a little tough for my taste, so I uploaded a photo just a little softer. Thanks and all the best! Link to comment
