eff 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Maybe it is the so-called global warming, but this winter the Guadarrama range in Madrid, Spain is suffering the lack of snow once again. What it should be a snowy landscape looks like a springtime landscape. To make things worse the day broke without any cloud. Nevertheless, the challenge of landscape photographer is to take beauty out of the environment no matter what the circumstances are. I hope you like it and any comment will be very appreciated. kellyphillips 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Very beautiful work. Clouds would make it perfct, but it's great the way it is. Oh yeah, I live in Kentucky in the states and we haven't had any snow at all this winter....none. Kind of odd. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 29, 2008 Breathtaking photo is everyway! The reflection of the mountain on the water add such a wonderful spark of a color.Love your photo. Link to comment
smimki 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Superb work, the contrast of the sunrise hitting the mountain is very pleasing. The small reflection keeps drawing the eye back to it and away from the the rest. As for winter, we have about normal snow this year in Missouri, USA but it seems colder than normal, but that could just be me getting older? Link to comment
Link to comment
michael r. reynolds 0 Posted February 12, 2008 This is a wonderful composition. Although more snow whould have been nice, you handled the light and color very nicely. I particularly like how you framed the shot, with the stream leading from the left lower corner into the main composition. It works very well. Thanks for sharing. Best Regards, MRR Link to comment
harrylichtman 0 Posted March 23, 2008 Nice job with exposure for this wide range of light. Right sky is a little too dark for me, but the rest of the image really works for me. Come to NH for snow! I went xc sking for the 40+ time today on 3 feet of snow-I can climb up onto the roof from the pile of snow that has slid off! No complaints, though:) Harry Link to comment
benjamin_bigham 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Awesome picture, reminds me of Colorado, where we've had abundant snow this year. The upper right is a tad dark, but the reflection in the stream makes for a nice effect. The colors, to me, are overall a touch harsh, but I can't really complain, as it's great all around.
