This is fun and perfectly executed, as I see it. That said, I started wondering why this poor phone was rejected ? Its color balance wasn't right...? :-) Care to expand on the concept a little...? Cheers.

Marc... Fun shot to set up. I loved drilling holes in that damn phone. It was revenge and it made me feel better.

 

I got this idea about 2 years ago when I was going through my divorce. Between all the calls from my lawyer, the ranting calls from my ex and the general feeling of anger this is what became of it 2 years later. All the poison and venom of that time was communicated through a cell phone. I saw an AT&T commercial with the 5 bars of a cell phone in all sorts of objects and thought it would be a nice play on it. I saw this shot in my head long before I took it. It's exactly how my mind saw it. It was a nice realization. I only dig about 10% of what I shoot completely and this is one of my faves. Might be because of the demons I exorcised shooting it.

Okaaaay ! :-)) Since I've had to go through a divorce myself - at about the same time time as you did, I think I can relate to this picture a bit better now ! :-) Thanks for your reply.

Dave, awesome idea! I think the AT&T line was "more bars in more places"... anyway... one minor detail - the top parts of the syringes are not aligned, so that the little rhombuses (logos?) are facing the same direction... Unless it is intentional, of course. Again, great work! Regards, Darin.
