Kayaks emerge from a squall

I agree about the left side. I found that a number of shots on the same roll were the same way. It was a disposable camera; I'd be surprised if the meter were very sophisticated.

This shot was taken in the Haida Gwaii, in northern British Columbia. We'd just been blasted by a squall; when I looked back I saw this scene. I grabbed the waterproof disposable camera from where I'd lashed it to the deck, and snapped this pic.

This pic means a lot to me, but I'm concerned that I'm not taking full advantage of the scanner software or PS to make the most of the shot. Any comments?
