I had the same idea before posting this photo to pnet, and tried it on photo shop. My conclusion was against the idea. The reason is that I wanted to confuse the viewers by showing as many odd items in the photo. Strange clothes of the women, a picture in the sky, wall over the sky, props on the ship deck, brief case, etc. In other words, I wanted the viewers' reaction saying "What's the hell is this??OXOX??"

By taking those elements out, your version (cropping top and deleting a brief case)may look more realistic as if two Eastern European women are approaching to the New World that waits for them. But that was not my intention this time. I appreciate your taking time to work on your version in photo shop, along with your kind comment on my POW. You comment made me and my wife laugh so hard. But don't forget. You don't crop Jap....Toshio

Haha.. just wanting to encourage "a photographer.." without any comment beneath the image.., I was again so stupid (!) not visiting the portfolio first! Haha.. like it very much!!! In the same way I did defend an own shot this night. Haha..! Nice this sharing! Was so glad they didn't delete my POW-comment!! Emotion, humor is needed! I did mean it for 200 percent! Watch to much just to nice isolated subjects, missing small toutches of real life.. Fast boring! Street is life.., cropping the reality by camera!
