Location: Mellon Udrigle, Scotland.Mellon Udrigle is a quite beautiful beach blessed with a fabulous mountainous backdrop. This New year I was staying with friends near Gruinard Bay and I took an early morning trip to the beach and was confronted by a really moody sky, luminous green water and a row of mountains which were indigo. The light must have seemed unspectacular but I was entranced and waited for the draw back of large wave to give me this delightful surreal appearance against the red sand beach. NEW!! A wave withdraws at mellon Udrigle a red sand beach with a

magnificent backdrop. The sky was heavy, grey and sombre but the

mountains were indigo and the sea a luminous green.

Great flow, amazing colours, excellent composition, good mood, but the slightly tilted horizon disturbes my feeling of balance. Otherwise I would hang a large print of this photo on my wall. Karl
