mvisionphotography 1 Posted January 26, 2008 You are getting way to much done and way to impressive for me. I love the color combinations and the way the light hits each of them. I will say this study was very interesting how you did it and I almost felt like I was looking at a snowboard (I got it right)at first glance. The swirl was a natural look of a spray paint feel. The sepia is my favorite color but the blue and sepia next together is really nice. In fact if you put another blue one at the bottom you would have a really nice presentation of nine altogether. It really looks like it could be an AD. You did a great job! ~ micki Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 28, 2008 I like the color because I think it makes it feel more contemporary and alive. It feels like it's coming out of the frame at me. Good sense of perspective and depth. Very well designed. Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted January 30, 2008 The saturated white lower left really pops and I love that interesting assemblage of things on the right. Link to comment
petemillis 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Fred, many thanks for the vote for colour. It's interesting how the choice of colour, or not, can make a photograph so different. The colour here is a big part of the picture, and the blue seems to complement the brown of the floor well. Hmmm...here I go trying to do some critique on my own picture! Thanks again. petemillis 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Dave, thank you too for the vote for colour! It's definitely appealing to me a lot more. Initially I was dead set on the monochrome just to get the form/shape of the board without the colour. But I'm seeing that the colour is a big thing here. Cheers. Pete Link to comment
