chl studios 0 Posted August 12, 2002 I really like this pictures, especially the composition and lighting. I prefer fine art pictures in combination with the real world, not posed in front of a back ground, and this is right on. The only thing I would look at are the angles of the different lines in the background. The images leaves me falling to the right. The camera is tilted a bit to the left, which may be intentional, but personally I would prefer having the corner of the room at a right angle to the image frame. If you take the image and tilt it 4 or 5 degrees to the left in Photoshop or similar, you see what I mean. Link to comment
wespettus 0 Posted August 19, 2002 This image shows a definite mood. It's very subtle in its tones. Very nice work. Link to comment
z_z1 0 Posted August 19, 2002 Very nicely done. Good mood creation. I wonder how it would look with an open magazine on the table? It would be neat to see the contact sheet from this shoot to see how you explored the creation of the final image. Eric Link to comment
vinayak_agrawal 0 Posted August 30, 2002 I like the photograph, don't ask why. I agree though that the camera tilt gives it an odd look, but have no problem with that. I'm not sure whether non-tilted one will be vastly superior either. The main thing I learned from this photograph is that it is not only strong lines in a photograph that guide the eyes to the centre of interest, strong lighting can have the same effect by effectively washing out a lot of detail from the rest of the photograph. Correct me if I'm wrong. Link to comment
mood 0 Posted January 3, 2003 Nice mood shot ... and range of tones from her expression to the darks and lights. Well done. Link to comment
