As Christ Also Loved the Church

Please offer suggestions for how I can improve my work. Thanks!

I'd love to know how you got this idea, Aaron. I read this passage when I gave our daughter away at her wedding 15 years ago. It still brings tears to my eyes, partly because of that but more because of how much He loves His Church!

 

I looked at your very nice portfolio...you have a lot of talent and live an interesting life. Just keep on shooting as He directs! (And keep on posting them here where we can see them!) You'll do fine!

The shot seems simple but the idea is brilliant. B & W suits it very well, I think. Personally, I'd add some framing, but I like it very much anyway.

Lovely photo, yes...BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE. Not sure where I have seen this before but...If an idea is taken from someone else, I think they should be credited...

 

Still a very nice photo though.

I have tried to find the origin of this concept with no luck. I can't find the particular rendition I first saw, and I can't find any indication of who started it. If you look around you will find quite a number of variations on this theme. If anyone knows where it began, I would be very interested to know, and I would be happy to give credit where credit is due.

Great image. I saw some people were commenting on the origin of this idea. I have seen it in a book by Mark Ridout if I'm not mistaken ( and I very well could be , the book has photographic contributions from 4 different photographers) In any case, I've seen one other one on photo.net, but in my opinion, this is the loveliest one I've seen yet. Great job!
