susan stone 0 Posted January 21, 2008 Just part of a windbreak on a bleak foggy day and when I converted to B&W it reminded me of an etching. Thanks for the visit. Link to comment
Lou_Meluso 266 Posted January 21, 2008 Susan: There is a great deal of tenderness in your seeing. This is a beautiful composition that many less gifted would pass by without a second look. It as a wonderful delicacy about that I like. Well done! Link to comment

teresa.zafon 0 Posted January 21, 2008 I love winter images and this one is so beautiful. It really looks like an etching. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted January 21, 2008 I shot the original image in color on a very overcast "yucky" day and never gave the photo a second thought, other than it wasn't even worth editing, until I started converting some of my stuff to B&W. I loved the conversion, it has so much graphic interest and delicacy. There were still leaves on the trees and bushes when an early snow coated them in a frosty vanilla icing. I'm pleased the three of you like it. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 30, 2008 I love how you see the world, and this is no exception. I love the title, too. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted January 31, 2008 Someone couldn't sleep and was playing on PN in the wee hours of the morning. I was tickled to see you paid my images a visit. Don'tcha think they're getting better!? I know participating here on PN has helped me develope a better eye for sure. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 31, 2008 Boy do I ever! Yours are much better, mine are getting better, and most of what I've learned has been on here. I wasn't really up at 1:30 a.m. That shows in a different time zone. It was probably 11:30, though. I've been cruising around the Moab site. Chris Conrad has a portfolio here. His is the Chris Conrad that has the member insignia next to it. Link to comment
