Good shot. Few things tho. the sky is washed out a little bit. Circular polarizer, and time of day will help with that, and the houses are kind of distracting. There are some really photographic spots just south of newport called seal rock. I have a pick from there in my landscape photos. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the comments Don!

I've been taking pictures for a long time, but I'm trying to learn to take them right. I don't have any filters yet, I plan to add some as I go. I was driving through with the family, so I didn't have a choice on time of day for this shot. I took the houses in the shot to show the "beach architecture" in the area.... maybe I shouldn't have catagorized it as landscape.... I'm still new to posting here, but I will check out your portfolio. I live in woodland wa, so I am sure I'll be back to this area of the coast, and I will look into Seal Rock too.

Again, thank you.

Steve
