jkorn 0 Posted January 20, 2008 This is a great alternative, but I like the subtlety of the first one. It takes a second to register that her skirt is actually a flower in the foreground, and it gives you that little AHA! moment. That said, I would be thrilled to have taken either one. Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted January 21, 2008 Hahahaha. Made me smile. She has a very pretty skirt. Good concept and lighting. I'll have to go and check your 'first one'. Thanks for sharing Sofia. Link to comment

nathan_stiles 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Love the idea, but I think I'd personally like it w/ more DOF. A tighter f-stop would make me happy. Also, there's spots that are blown out near the hands and head that look like they shouldn't be. I'm guessing the idea was to lose detail to keep it doll like, and center the attention on the flower. Maybe a little to heavy handed for me. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted January 23, 2008 I like this version better because of its subtleity. Brilliant idea to make the flower become her "skirt". From the thumbnail, I really thought its her ballerina skirt. Very original idea. Link to comment
