rbanfield 0 Posted January 20, 2008 Ya aced this one amigo. Still kinda partial to Black and White and your conversion is right on! Love the crop on this one, probally because I don't think the mountains do a lot for the shot. The late afternoon sun really gives the track added depth as well as those wonderful patterns on the lakebed. (did you get any shots of the lake bed? Have to go thru your DVNP shots again. Great capture and great conversion!...RAY Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 27, 2008 This is my favorite Racetrack photo of all of our works. You really got the essence of this stark and mysterious place. Superb details, and perfect post-processing. Excellent work, Leo; this really came out nicely. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted August 17, 2008 "How does it feel, to be on your own, with no direction home, a complete unknown, like a rolling stone" {always good to know ones classics ;-) } Although this looks oversharpened I like it very much because of those high contrasts in that extremely hard light. Great composition with that rock in the background and the hint of those hills. I very much like that totally blacked out shadow because it gives the right kind of balance. We're fast becoming inundated with images like these but only few rise above mediocrity as this one clearly does. Link to comment
