sherle 0 Posted January 18, 2008 An excellent image to show off these testaments to the hardiness of nature when left alone. The light is perfect!............Sherle Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted January 18, 2008 Where was this bristlecone shot taken? It doesn't look the whitish dolomites of the White Mountains in California; is this in Nevada? Regardless, great shot, and spectacular light. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted January 18, 2008 This is a great combination of the beautiful soft and warm light on the bristlecone pine with such wonderful sky. Especially it almost seems like a hallow around the tip of the tree. Additionally, I would like to also try a different angle though too, especially get more wide angle and getting close to dominate the frame by the tree more while showing the vast expanse of sky . IF there is such composition I would love to see. Link to comment
faitl 0 Posted January 19, 2008 the answer is very easy :) this picture was taken on the right place in White mountains where the Bristlecone pines park is. This "guy" is hidden, I had to hike a little downhill on the northern side of the road, but I think I`m not able to find this spot again :( theres a lot of similar places.... Link to comment

StevenVeit-Studio1476 1 Posted January 1, 2009 Great sense of drama, as if the tree has a personality. Composition and lighting very effective . Link to comment
