Nice father and son shot. Pity for the completely dark eye of the former.

Years from now this will be a treasure. As a first attempt at B&W you should certainly be satisfied. You have catchlights in the eyes in natural lighting, nice textures in the skin, interesting composition, and captured a nice moment. About the man's eye in the shadow, I'm sure you can bring out more detail--it looks like it's probably there in the negative. Perhaps the same goes for the very bright highlights on the child's sleeve.

hey, thanks for the comments, actually the print shows the eye. I think I did a poor job with my scanner.
