Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Again, you have made hay while the sun shone, so to speak. Your images remind me so much of my days in Lansing, Michigan, in my last year of law school, when I rediscovered a joy for photography that I had abandoned for years. I used to tuck my little Nikon Em in my jacket pocket and roam the streets. Those were the brick and mortar days of Kodak Royal Gold and Fuji Super 100. This scene, therefore, represents to me not just a side of a wall, but a window to a more innocent time. It inspires the Dolly Parton song: "My Coat of Many Coloors". Even as I type, the words waft through my head: "Back through the years I go wanderin' once again Back to the seasons of my youth..." Link to comment
skyjammer 0 Posted January 29, 2008 The light makes this shot an outstanding photo specimen. Simply beautiful. It brings out the texture of the brick building. Nicely done. -Ade Link to comment
