Guest Guest Posted January 16, 2008 You might find this interesting: http://www.seedmagazine.com/news/2006/06/the_gay_animal_kingdom.php?page=all&p=y There are suggestions that homosexual relationships actually play an important evolutionary role in adaptive considerations and in the continuation of the species. It may not be as simple as man + woman = future. Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted January 19, 2008 The composition and color treatment are absolutely brilliant, Pnina. You really ought to put it up for critique so that (1) more people will see it and (2)it can be seen by someone who will nominate it for Photo of the Week. --Lannie Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 19, 2008 Lannie, thanks for your evaluation, you know I appreciate it! To answer your 2 reasons... It was not an easy series, to articulate right and in English my aims while creating it. I did not want the automatic 3/3's the moment it is uploaded to " contaminate" this series, that I see as important for my expression ( I nearly completely stopped using the rating system....) Thanks for thinking it deserves the photo of the week... I will nominate you to be an elf..... joking... but it is nice of you to think so. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted January 19, 2008 Without delving into controversy, myth, and gender/sexuality issues, I'd like to simply say I like this photo. Apart from the context of the series and the archetypal associations of apples and temptations, I like see this as a modern story of connection. Of two souls struggling to support each other. sallycd 0 Posted January 20, 2008 Pnina, I did not know "alma" is apple. Your series of "alma" interpretations or the "maker's" dance is really great but I won't know what it was until I read your captions. Link to comment
