A really nice golden balance. You've used the lines of cloud and water well and held down the brightness to get good shadow detail.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I love this view for sunsets and yesterday was great for about 20 minutes. This is so much easier than working with kids or birds or hockey. No 235 pound man coming at me at 30 miles per hour here. Relaxing and pretty. A pleasure to share. Come back often and I will try not to disappoint.

(sigh)

That's it...

I'll never get a job in this town (ha)

Yep! BY FAR one of the best sunsets you have gotten down here at this place (our favorite place). Can't wait to look at the others. (HA HA ~ I get to look at the others). :)

In face I can crop them and play with them and make them my own and paint with them. So, PLEASE PLEASE say you will take ME? maybe?? HA!

Love it! ~ me

Very nice sunset - very nice tonality. The little broken piers look like some form of strange hierglyphics. Nice shot!

LOL! Ger's comment cracked me up! :) Fergi, my favorite part of this shot is that the sun is framed by the posts. Nice timing. I love sunsets! :)

A humble thank you to the Warriors. I can't take Gumby and put him in a waterfall, or a slide into a backyard scene, but I can surely stand on a pier with a camera and a moving planet. Hard to screw that up (kidding, I have so many crap sunset shots). Dunno if you guys know that I don't use filters or anything, just my sun-scarred retina and a love of the ebb and flow of the water and sun. Thank you for your comments. I guess Micki will think better of going to see a movie matinee without me.

To the non-Warriors. You made me blush this weekend. Thank you for taking time to look at my work. And now, it's Monday.

Beautiful to see. Great composition and the exposure is excellent. I love the fact that you can still see the posts on the sides of the sun.
